Second Annual Conference Announced!

Building on the success of the first annual New York State Neighborhood Revitalization Conference, we are proud to announce that Troy will once again host statewide neighborhood organizers in a day of idea sharing, problem solving, and strategizing for the future of NYS neighborhoods.

Mission: The purpose of our conference is to bring together neighborhood activists, educators, business people, and elected officials to share successes and develop strategies to maintain healthy and vibrant neighborhoods throughout Upstate New York. As residents and businesspeople, we believe that the strength of our past and our diversity in people, cultures, and businesses, will enable us to make our neighborhoods destinations to live, work, and visit.

Keynote: We are very pleased to announce that Vincent DeSantis will be our Keynote speaker at this year’s conference. City court judge, active community member, and Author of the highly regarded book, Toward Civic Integrity, Re-establishing the Micropolis, DaSantis is a thought leader in urban revitalization. Workshops: Sharing Best Practices through workshops will allow everyone to get the most out of the conference. We are developing several workshops, but are also looking for proposals from others across the state.
